As part of the GRAMMY Museum’s Programs at Home series, Moderator Scott Goldman interviews Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter, guitarist, and artist, Jake Smith, known as The White Buffalo, for a conversation on the making of his new album, On The Widow’s Walk. The conversation will be followed by a performance of songs from Smith.
Of the six studio albums and three EPs released thus far under The White Buffalo banner, On The Widow’s Walk is the most collaborative and organic, the most sonically round. The 11-track outing is a loosely linked collection of dark thrills produced by Shooter Jennings, who also provides piano and keys.
